UHRIGModel Type B - Modular Heat Exchanger System

SHARE

The Therm-Liner Type B is a modular heat exchanger system designed for installation in classic gravity pipelines. Suitable for both new and existing pipelines, this system can be dismantled at the end of its service life. It represents a sophisticated and versatile solution for harvesting thermal energy from wastewater, making it an ideal choice for diverse infrastructure types. UHRIG Energy provides ready-to-use construction of these heat exchanger systems, which are connected to the top edge of the pipeline. To fully utilize the harvested thermal energy, an interface to a heat pump is necessary. UHRIG Energy also offers services to plan and build this interface for an all-in-one solution. Each project is customized to address the specific sizes, dimensions, and materials found in wastewater pipelines, ensuring optimal performance and integration within varied environmental conditions. This approach combines serial production with adaptability, standardizing processes while meeting unique project requirements.

UHRIG Energy specializes in the ready-to-use construction of heat exchanger systems that connect to the top edge of the pipeline. In order to utilize the thermal energy harvested, it is also necessary to have an interface to the heat pump and the heat pump itself – i.e., three components all together.

  • Heat exchanger: delivers the thermal energy from the pipeline
  • Interface: flow and return pipes, connection to heat pump
  • Heat pump: for regulating the temperature inside the building

For some projects, UHRIG also offers to plan and build the interface. Just talk to us if you’re considering an all-in-one solution.
