50 years and not a bit quiet.

At the age of 21, Anton Schwarz began selling and servicing oil burners in Tyrol – the birth of Olymp. Today he can look back on a successful company development.

A company with a remarkable history. In 1960, Anton Schwarz registered his first patent. In doing so, the company owner laid the foundation for the rapid development of the Olymp Group. In a garage, Anton Schwarz worked on energy-saving technology for oil burners - and this in a decade in which environmental protection seemed like a luxury.

The energy shock of 1973: Immediately afterwards, Olymp developed the first aluminum radiator for low-temperature operation. This marked the beginning of a new era in heating technology.

1977: An Olymp invention that changes the market: the Viscostat oil preheater. A breakthrough that was adopted by all heating manufacturers and is now part of the general state of the art.

The company has been based in Ötztal Bahnhof in Tyrol since 1973. In addition to several other branches in Austria, the company also has a number of locations in the rest of Europe. In addition, a large number of service technicians travel throughout Europe every day in order to be able to offer our consumers good customer service everywhere.

What does Olympus stand for?

Olymp has established itself in the heating market over many decades and today positions itself as the last real Austrian producer of heating products. We produce almost exclusively in Ötztal-Bahnhof in Tyrol and consciously promote the domestic labor market. This is demonstrated not least by the large number of long-term employees and the constantly growing number of apprentices in the company.
