Atmos - Model A 25 - Pellet Burners
Burner output: 4,5 – 24 kW. The ATMOS A25 pellet burner is intended only for good quality pellets without bark with 6 – 8 mm diameter, 5 - 25 mm lenght and 16 - 19 MJ.kg-1 caloric power (white pellets). The adventage of this burner is automatic ignitron pellets by ignition spiral which fires up the pellet when ever is needed. The burner and boiler work for maximum output with efficiency 85 - 90 % and with the best quality of burning. Unlike the competitive products which can not automaticaly ignite and they only keep a hot layer which causes operation for lower output with a low waste gas temperature below 100 °C. Such opeation causes condensation of tar and acids in the burning chamber and chimney, lower effectivity, higher consumption, lower quality of burning, higher emissions and more often cleaning. By our products we clean the ash from the boiler in 7 - 30 days depending on type of fuel and output of the boiler.
Specified fuel: good quality pellets with 6 – 8 mm diameter, 5 - 25 mm lenght and 16 - 19 MJ.kg-1 caloric power (white pellets) .
The burner screen: used to display the current status of the burner and adjusting her functions
Burner control: with an AC07X (AC07) electronic control unit that controls the operation of the external conveyor, two ignition spirals and the fan in accordance with requirements of the boiler and the heating system. The electronic system is rotected with the safety thermostat of the boiler, safety thermostat at the pellet supply to the burner, the fan speed transducer and the flame sensing photocell. The operation of the burner is indicated on the electronic control display.
Fuel feeding: with an external auger conveyor controlled from electronic regulation of burner.
Ignition of fuel: automatic assisted by two electric ignition spirals.
Basic functions of turner:
The possibility of using two spare outputs R and R2 for various applications
The possibility of the involvement of four different sensors TS, TV, TK a TSV
TS - sensor on the tank bottom
TV - sensor on the tank top
TK - boiler sensor or middle sensor on the tank
TSV - flue gas sensor or solar panel sensor
- burner controlling it in accordance with two temperatures (sensors) on the buffer tank
- control of boiler fan from burner with the help of the auxiliary output
- control of boiler pump from burner with the help of the auxiliary output
- control of the solar system directly from the burner
- automatic start of the burner after burning of wood for boilers DCxxSP
The burners are not suitable to burn dark pellets which can cause clinkering. In such case it is needed to clean the burning chamber in period 1 - 3 days and you lose the comfort of such heating.
In the case of, that you want to burn lower quality wood pellets equip burner pneumatic cleaning.
The burner is ideally controlled depending on values of the buffer tank`s two sensors (TV and TS). The control unit monitors fully automatically heating of the buffer tank and ensures the heating system always has sufficient energy available.
The burner`s electronic control unit also controls the boiler`s flue gas fan, boiler circuit pump and/or the solar system.
The burner`s electronic unit makes it possible to control the burner`s operation depending on four sensors in such way, that when the solar panel sensor detects it is good to heat the buffer tank using energy gained from solar collector, the burner`s regulation ensures the tank is only heated using pellets up to the level of a sensor TK (TS2) which is located between sensors TS and TV in the tank.
The burner operates as follows. When the burner receives a command to start or there arises a need to start heating, the conveyor feeds pellets into the nozzle of the burner and the ignition spiral lights the pellets up. When the pellets are burning sufficiently strong, the burner starts operating at a set output, which it keeps up until the system is heated. Then the burner is switched off and pellets in the burner chamber burn down. The entire cycle is always repeated if needed. Output of the boiler and other functions of the burner are controlled by the burner electronic regulation, which makes it possible to adjust operation of the boiler to actual conditions of the entire system.
Burner allows a large number of individual settings described in the instructions manual.
