Topsil Photo Voltaic Float Zone (PV-FZ™) monocrystalline silicon wafers are recognised for their superior quality in the PV-industry. Float Zonetechnique is used for growing the moncrystals, resulting in wafers with efficiencies above 20%.

Topsil PV-FZ silicon has been developed to meet solar industry`s material requirements and cost levels. The wafers support the development of stable, high efficiency and cost effective solar cells. They are characterised by the following parameters:
- High minority carrier bulk lifetime
- Low oxygen content
- Low resistivity variation
The PV-FZ silicon is available as n-type and p-type products, bulk resistivity targets in the range of 0.5-30 Ωcm, and diameters up to 150mm.
