High standards in production and quality assurance

In order to live up to our own quality requirements and those of our customers, we are constantly investing in modern, computer-controlled systems, in devices and tools, electrical testing facilities, CAD equipment etc. And we pay just as much attention to education, further training and motivation of our employees. A high percentage of our staff holds degrees from technical colleges or has the title of a chartered engineer.

Compressor assembly
The compressor proper, the cabling, the terminal boxes and control panels are all mounted on one single frame. Depending on the customer’s requirements, the control systems may either be integrated in the compressor unit, too, or mounted separately.

Compressor control
Our highly developed electronic control systems are designed and maintained by a team of highly-qualified electrical engineers. They use CAD systems and other computer-controlled programs to perform their tasks. More than 60% of all LMF compressors are equipped with such systems. They include programmable logistics controls, display panels, electric displays and the entire pressure control logic. On request we also supply phone modems and IP interfaces to perform service work worldwide.

Assembly
LMF assembles all compressors in its well-equipped assembly plant. The assembly follows the high LMF quality standards.

Test run
In our special testing area, every single compressor is tested in a four-hour mechanical test run under full load conditions according to the contract specifications and the relevant international standards, such as ISO, ASME, DNV, BV, LRS, GL etc.
