Our Plastic Tube Scrubbers are designed specifically for cleaning condenser and heat exchanger tubes that have minimal debris such as mud, silt, and microbiological fouling. This type of scrubber is the most economical option among tube cleaners, making it an ideal choice for budget-conscious heat exchanger cleaning operations. The scrubber features seven hard plastic fins that effectively scrape debris from the tube`s surface. Its hollow core allows water to pass through the center, flushing debris ahead of the cleaner. The outer diameter of the scrubber is engineered to match the specified inner diameter of the tube precisely. The Plastic Tube Scrubber can be propelled using either water alone or a mixture of air and water, providing versatility in various cleaning applications.
O.D. Style Tube Plug
Projectile Tube Cleaning’s O.D. (Outer Diameter) Style Tube Plug has the same adjustable design as our I.D. style plug but instead of being inserted completely into the tube, the plug inserts until the large washer is flush with the tube sheet.
This design prevents the plug from moving inside the tube. This plug can be used in both permanent and temporary applications. These durable tube plugs are rated to handle up to 400 psi and 220° F. The O.D. style tube plugs are available for condenser and heat exchanger tube sizes ranging from3/4” to 1” outer diameter (O.D.) and come in either brass, bronze, or stainless steel.
