- John-Zink - Rapid Mix Burner (RMB)
John Zink’s Rapid Mix Burner (RMB™) is an advanced ultra-low NOx burner designed to achieve NOx levels once thought only possible with selective catalytic reactors (SCRs). Utilizing innovative rapid mixing technology, the RMB™ provides a reliable and cost-effective alternative for controlling NOx emissions in thermal oxidizers and incinerators. This burner is available in multiple versions, including the RMB™ and CRMB, each tailored to specific applications and performance requirements.
The RMB™ operates with a unique design that rapidly mixes combustion air and fuel gas prior to the ignition point, minimizing fuel-rich regions and reducing NOx formation. This burner features a stable flame with no moving parts, ensuring long-term reliability and reduced maintenance. The compact, short flame design eliminates refractory impingement and allows for streamlined air quality permitting and emission-reduction credits.
- Ultra-Low NOx Emissions: Achieves NOx levels as low as 0.01 lbs/MMBtu.
- Advanced Mixing Technology: Rapidly mixes air and fuel gas to minimize NOx formation.
- No Moving Parts: Ensures high reliability and reduced maintenance.
