NHC-1400 family are mechanical braking (Failsafe system) and hydraulic releasing brakes. Being a floating braking design, it is equipped with a self-aligning system to ensure the proper positioning of the pads and the brake disc. It provides up to 150 KN of clamping force and can be equipped, either with sintered or organic pads, with an easy lining replacement system.
Pad wear detection systems and brake-open detection systems can be supplied as options to the brake and ANTEC can also provide suitable hydraulic power units.
