The TROVIS 5578-E Heating and District Heating Controller is used to control up to three control circuits:
  • Control of a primary heat exchanger or boiler with up to two mixed and one unmixed heating circuit (each weather-compensated) and control of the drinking water heating on the secondary side
  • Weather-compensated buffer storage control with up to two mixed heating circuits and fresh water module
  • Control of two weather-compensated heating circuits and a drinking water heating system with three valves on the primary side
  • Control of three weather-compensated heating circuits with three valves on the primary side
  • Systems with up to six control circuits possible via optional TROVIS I/O expansion modules (coupled via device bus)
  • Systems with a larger number of control circuits can be implemented by interconnecting controllers via the device bus
  • Direct access to the operating modes and the essential parameters of the individual control circuits via rotary switches
  • Data query and input intuitively by "turning" and "pressing"
  • LC display with plain text and symbol representation
  • Annual time switch with up to four time programs (without TROVIS I/O) and automatic summer/winter time changeover
  • Up to three usage periods per day (entry in 15-minute increments)
  • Room control units for the individual heating circuits can be connected
  • Demand-based control through setpoint request from downstream control circuits via device bus or 0 to 10 V
  • Applications with solar thermal drinking water heating available
  • Flow systems configurable with water flow sensor
  • Heating curves either according to slope or according to four points
  • Sliding limitation of the return temperature
  • Adaptation: automatic adjustment of the heating curve (room temperature sensor required)
  • Optimization: Calculation of the optimal switch-on and switch-off times for the heating (room temperature sensor required)
  • Parameterizable screed drying
  • Flash EPROM of the controller (operating system) can be updated
  • Integrated M-Bus interface for communication with up to three M-Bus devices
  • Galvanically isolated RS-485 interface for Modbus RTU/device bus communication
  • Ethernet interface for Modbus TCP/IP communication and connection to SAM DISTRICT ENERGY
  • Configuration and parameterization with the TROVIS-VIEW software via Ethernet interface
