FLOWSiC - Silicon Carbide Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers for Corrosive Media
Silicon carbide shell and tube heat exchangers for corrosive media. The silicon carbide shell and tube heat exchanger FLOWSiC with Hexoloy SE SiC tubes and double PFA-HP lined tube-plate provides a complete corrosion resistance to the most aggressive chemicals. Depending on the process and thanks to the wide range of construction material, the acid fluids can circulate either inside or outside of silicon carbide tubes.
The tightness for each silicon carbide tube is ensured by perfluoro elastomer FFKM O-rings pressed simultaneously on the main tube-plate through a secondary counter plate. The new construction design allow to operate with total vacuum or working pressure up to 10 bar.
The FLOWSiC heat exchangers with double tube-plate PFA-HP lined ensure safety, reliability, long life and they are available either in standard version or with leakage warning chamber.
