Solar PV Modules

Solar PV modules (panels) convert solar energy into DC electric power. The inverter converts DC to AC electric power, and the feed-in-meter meters how much electricity is fed into the grid.  Under a feed-in-program, the solar system owner is being paid money for the electricity generated and fed into the grid. The solar system owner now is a power generator and power supplier, with income being generated. The solar system and power fed into the grid are independent of the power consumed by the building or user from the grid
