The KWB EmpaTherm DHWC is perfectly adjusted to the requirements of a wood-fired heating system. If a solar system helps heat your domestic hot water, we are pleased to offer you the KWB EmpaTherm Solar. Using a plain-tube heat exchanger, it transfers solar energy to the water in the storage tank. Both versions are available in the following tank capacities:

The use of a domestic hot water cistern only fulfils the minimum heating system requirements. With optimized dimensioning you can, naturally, operate our heating systems without a buffer tank, but you will not be able to benefits from the advantages offered by the KWB EmpaCompact, EmpaWell or EmpaEco.
