Solar Tracker
Open fields are highly suitable for the placing of solar installations. The ValkSolarTracker doubles the yield of a fixed installation. Along with more kWh per kWp, the ValkSolarTracker also ensures a more constant energy production throughout the day. The system described below can be mounted on any type of ground. Using screw piles, concrete pads, driven piles or ballast, you always have the right foundation for your situation.

Fixed system versus Solar Tracker
Compared to a fixed installation, the purchase of a solar tracker requires a greater investment. It is easily earned back within a few years, though. This is the result of a much higher energy yield (see figure 1) as well as less usage from the grid (see figure 2). The exact payback period varies from country to country and is partly dependent on the number of hours of sunlight, the local energy cost and the energy consumption.
