Solarcraft - Model ESG -Grid-Tie Solar Power Systems

Since the 1980s, the oil and gas industry has used small-scale solar power to operate electronics at remote sites where utility power was unavailable. Now, energy companies are installing large-scale solar to operate electric motor-driven equipment with renewable power at pipeline interconnect stations, helping offset energy companies’ carbon footprint.

In late 2021, Solarcraft began work on a collaborative project to develop grid-tie solar system installations for a large energy company. The energy company is working toward achieving its net-zero carbon commitment through solar offset and renewable natural gas (RNG) production. This project is different because the solar electricity generated offsets four RNG meter stations, making the project uniquely 100% renewable.

Since 1994, THE POWER OF QUALITY has been fundamental to Solarcraft's success. We started over 30 years ago designing and building small solar power systems to power radio transmitters and similar small electronics in remote locations. Solar is now affordable on a large scale, and remote automation has transformed field operations for energy, telecommunications, and utilities. Where utility power is unavailable, solar power carries the load. 

In addition to solar, we developed uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems for outdoor applications that require continuous operation. Like our solar power systems, our UPS systems are engineered to power critical loads even in the most challenging scenarios.

We build a full range of rugged outdoor enclosures, control cabinets, equipment racks, and shelters to house the high-value assets we power. Power and critical operating components are integrated into a single enclosure, resulting in a stand-alone solution specific to the customers’ requirements. This minimizes footprint and reduces maintenance and costs.
