Sinexcel - Model ASVG - Static Var Generator
SVG, with the idea of using as a component, could compensate both inductive and capacitive loads to achieve PF 0.99 and avoid
less and over compensation.
ASVG as an equivalent to a controlled voltage (current) source, is an active reactive power compensation technology.
- External current transformer (CT) could detect real-time load current.
- Internal DSP calculates and analyzes the reactive power content of the system.
- Control PWM to send signal to IGBT to generate reactive power compensation current for power factor correction.
Without periodic replacing, reducing user investment
Conventional ASVC is very sensitive to system parameters. When the parameters is set unreasonable or changed after a period of time, it will probably cause resonance amplification and even accidents. If system voltage fluctuates seriously, compensation performance will be effected and loss will be increased, which requires aperiodic maintenance for capacitor banks.
Based on IGBT technology and as the controlled current source device, ASVG could avoid harmonic amplification and resonance and it`s not sensitive to system parameters to guarantee safety and stability.
