SWEBO - Solar Heating System
The sun`s radiation is free, and can be used to generate both electricity and heat. This is extremely cost-effective and environmentally friendly. Solar heat can be very effectively combined with pellet or other solid fuel combustion.
The SWEBO Solar heating system is an efficient, high quality system. Our panels are designed to operate in our harsh Arctic climate, and to withstand very severe weather conditions for many years, while providing free energy year after year. The choice of solar panels is very important. We have concentrated only on flat solar panels, partly due to the Technical Research Institute of Sweden`s tests, which showed no difference between vacuum and flat solar panels on saved kWh/year (they were equal), and partly because the quality of today`s vacuum solar panels is more variable. Flat solar panels have a very good retaining capacity and are also cheaper per kWh than equivalent panels with vacuum tubes. For us, it`s an easy decision.
