OPSI actively participates in the power market throughout North America and is a member/market participant in:

  • PJM ISO

  • MISO

  • ERCOT

  • New York ISO

  • Southwest Power Pool

In Texas, OPSI provides services for its affiliated Battleground Cogeneration facility (300 MW combined cycle) and Ingleside Cogeneration facility (440 MW). OPSI also provides services for its affiliated Taft Cogeneration facility, an 800 MW combined-cycle plant in Louisiana. Occidental`s participation as both an industrial consumer and electricity generator uniquely positions OPSI to be able to provide a variety of asset services to market participants throughout the electric grid.

Assets Under Management

Midstream and marketing operations are conducted at the following facilities in the United States with over 1,200 megawatts of electricity in Texas and Louisiana.
