The PDM-600 is a comprehensive all-in-one partial discharge (PD) monitoring system with up to six separate analog input channels for permanent parallel measurement on all channels. It integrates the analog signal conditioning for either UHF, electric or acoustic PD measurements, data processing and storage, a webserver with a rich visualization, and communication protocols like ModbusTCP and IEC 61850 as well as relays in a compact and easy-to-install package.

The window-type UHF PD sensor is used for measuring of the electromagnetic radiation from internal PD in ultra-high frequency range (UHF) in transformers. Cigré Working Group WG A2-27 recommends to install DN50 valves or dielectric windows for later fitting of UHF probes. (Recommendations for condition monitoring and condition assessment facilities for transformers, TB 343). The dielectric window of the UHF-PS1 sensor is designed according to Cigré Working Group WG D1-37 (Guidelines for partial discharge detection using conventional and unconventional methods, TB 662).

Reference signal generator with a defined signal level for the calibration of partial discharge measuring instruments according to IEC 60270. Various pC range options and a version for external injection capacitors with step voltage output according to IEC 60270 available. The signal can be triggered by a TTL signal, by a photodiode, by a manual trigger button and by the remote control via fiber optic (FO) cable. In addition, it can be set to a fixed repetition rate per internal clock. The pulse generator is operated by lithium-ion battery and can be controlled remotely by FO if required.
