Commissioning Services
Clarke Energy is able to commission GE`s Jenbacher gas engines in all the countries in which we operate. Commissioning is conducted by local Clarke Energy service engineers. This means that the engineers commissioning the generator will be from the same team of engineers that look after the engine into the future. This arrangement gives consistency for the customer and helps facilitate the highest levels of service through familiarity with the site and project. As an additional benefit, for engines that Clarke Energy has sold, installed and commissioned we are able to offer maintenance agreements that include availability guarantees.
Maintenance Agreements Services
Clarke Energy is able to provide the highest levels of customer service and peace-of-mind along with comprehensive long-term maintenance agreements. A maintenance agreement creates a relationship with us for the life of your equipment. The majority of the GE`s Jenbacher gas engines we supply are serviced through a maintenance agreement. In creating each agreement, we work directly with you, defining the best and most suitable solution for your service needs. A maintenance agreement typically consists of different components of our service product portfolio and accompany the lifecycle of your gas engine.
Field Services
Clarke Energy has a comprehensive network of field service engineers in the different countries in which we operate. Field service engineers are typically located in the surrounding region, looking after a small number of gas-powered generators. This facilitates rapid response to your generator in the event of any unscheduled maintenance requirements. With our contractual maintenance agreements we are able to offer optimised response times and availability guarantees for your generator. Alternatively, for large or remote sites under a full operation and maintenance contract engineers can be assigned dedicated to a single installation. If you would like to find out more about what services are available in your local area, please contact your nearest Clarke Energy office.

With a drive towards greater uptake of renewable power, Clarke Energy is pleased to provide a new offering to our customers. Clarke Energy is able to take on a greater scope of project supply and incorporate different power generation technologies in our offering. These hybrid solutions can consist of engines, wind, solar and storage technologies. These solutions can form a microgrid being either grid connected, in island mode operation or capable of disconnecting themselves from the grid and operating in island mode.
Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Services
Gas engine power plant engineering procurement and construction (EPC). Clarke Energy can offer comprehensive engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services complimenting the supply and maintenance of a gas engine or other power generation equipment. Clarke Energy adds value to the core power solution through engineering, installation and maintenance services. Overhaul and Repair Centre Services
Clarke Energy have completed a large investment into the gas engine Overhaul and Repair Centre at our Knowsley headquarters, which has optimised the site’s operation, enhanced the on-site facilities and boosted the productivity of the centre for the service department.
Clarke Energy - Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS)
Energy can be stored in several ways. This can include, for example, storage of electricity in batteries or ultracapacitors. Alternatively, energy can be converted into a gas such as biogas, biomethane or hydrogen and stored as a fuel rather than as electricity. These gaseous fuels. Sometimes known as “e-fuels” can be utilised in high-efficiency decentralised reciprocating gas engine plants to produce both electricity and heat, at point of use, helping to save money and decarbonise our utility supply.
Energy Resilience Services
Resilience for essential services such as hospitals, manufacturers, data centres and the electricity grid is an important topic in an uncertain world. Numerous unexpected occurrences, such as epidemics, severe weather and electricity grid failures can provide challenges to various sectors. Self-generation of electricity, heat and cooling can be achieved using captive power plants. These are power generators located close to the site of use. Captive power plants can provide either continuous power or used as a reserve or back-up power source.
