GridPocket’s software-as-a-service white label platform solution for energy utilities is developed to propose secure energy consumption profile insight to household clients in order to encourage them to implement  energy efficiency behavior, in turn resulting in reduced consumption or peak load shifting. The system rewards households with EcoTroks™ energy efficiency points for energy efficient behavior, which can be used to buy gifts. This gaming tactic is effective for sustained consumer engagement through a positive feedback relationship.

The new platform PowerVAS is based on the global oneM2M and ETSI M2M standards. This is the first solution to combine high performance large scale data analysis, machine events handling and behavioral science to enable electricity, gas and water utility value-added services with unprecendented levels of applicative flexibility, consumer commitment, and usage insights.

The deployment of smart meters in Europe and worldwide means appearance of unstructured energy data, that need to be stored, integrated, retrieved and analysed for which original high performance computer systems and algorithms have to be designed and evaluated. The energy data collected by metering infrastructure represents the biggest volume of smart grid energy-related data. In the domain of big data, it is a big challenge to store and manage these large volumes of data. In general data are cheap, but the value added information extracted from data is an article necessary to process and store. Big data architectures help to let machine understand and unveil the hidden association laws between data terms. Normally to assure this process, we store and manage large-scale structured or unstructured data in NoSQL databases, process in HDFS architecture or use cluster storage management.

EVCCA is flexible energy manager for electric vehicle charging stations enabling to overcome electricity grid stability limitations, that charging services have to deal with. It enables the implementation of charging stations in busy down-town areas, public buildings and remote rural zones. EVCCA assures the better charging service to EV drivers and minimize the impact on electric grid.
