Hyzon - Model 24 Tonne - Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Trucks

Hyzon's HyMax Series offers a range of hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks designed to meet diverse operational needs while eliminating carbon emissions. The series is available in multiple configurations including 24-tonne, 46-tonne, and 70-tonne models. These trucks are powered by hydrogen fuel cells that combine hydrogen and oxygen to produce electricity, powering the electric motor and/or battery, resulting in zero emissions. The 24-tonne model features a 160 kW continuous electric motor with a peak power of 250 kW, a 70 kWh high voltage battery, and 80 kW continuous fuel cell power. It has an on-board hydrogen capacity of 30 kg and a typical driving range of 400 km. The 46-tonne configuration offers a continuous motor power of 190-295 kW, a battery capacity of 100-110 kWh, and fuel cell power ranging from 110 kW to 200 kW, with a maximum hydrogen capacity of 50-60 kg and a typical range of 680 km. The 70-tonne model features similar motor and battery specifications, with a fuel cell power of up to 240 kW and a hydrogen capacity of 50-60 kg, providing a driving range of 600 km. These trucks aim to offer the power, range, payload, and refueling times similar to conventional diesel vehicles while focusing on safety, enhanced acceleration, and reduced noise pollution. Hyzon also ensures service and maintenance support through its network of service partners and provides access to low-to-negative carbon intensity hydrogen for its clients.

The Hyzon HyMax Series offers hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks designed for heavy-duty applications with zero emissions. Available in 24, 46, and 70-tonne configurations, these vehicles combine the benefits of hydrogen fuel cells with the performance of traditional diesel trucks. The 24-tonne model features a driving range of 400 km, a 160 kW electric motor, and a 70 kWh battery. The 46-tonne variant offers a range of 680 km, a motor producing 190-295 kW, and a 100-110 kWh battery. The 70-tonne model includes similar power specifications and a range of 600 km. Each model operates at a working pressure of 350 bars and includes high-capacity hydrogen storage, ensuring quick refueling and extended operational times. Designed with driver safety and efficiency in mind, these vehicles provide rapid acceleration, smooth driving experience, and reduced noise pollution, emulating the operational capabilities of diesel engines while producing only water vapor emissions.
