Pumps & Services

At Electric Motor Service Limited, we focus on excellence, specializing in sales, repair and refurbishment of all leading makes of pumps, and related products while working closely with leading manufacturers. Electric Motor Service Limited covers the full range of pump types whether for clean or dirty water, chemicals, food & drink or other applications. Electric Motor Service Limited`s high levels of technology, skills and facilities are such that the expense of complete replacement is rarely necessary. The economics of repair and refurbishment is also enhanced by a 24 hour / 7 day emergency repair/service, reducing the amount of time a unit is out of service. Full in-house test facilities for pressure and flow measurement enables units to be tested before their return to the customer. All repairs are performed using our Quality Management System procedures.

Motor Services

At Electric Motor Service Limited`s Apparatus Service Division, we have two shop locations. We have the capability to repair AC Motors, DC Motors, and Generators up to 20,000HP. All repairs are carried out in house including machine work. We have lathes up to 48` swing, balancing up to 25 Ton, Babbitt bearing repair, mig or tig welding, and our rewind department uses a Samatic automatic-winding machine. After rewinds are complete they go into our 8` x 14` V.P.I. tank which uses 100% polyester resin for maximum penetration. After re-building is complete, all motors are tested on our laser aligned isolated test bed to check vibration, amperage, bearing temperature and various other tests. If required our test panel is rated at 2000kva up to 6900 Volts AC and up to 600 Volts 800 Amps DC. When needed we have the capability to load test motors up to 1000HP with our Eddy current Clutch dynamometers.

Our service department technicians are factory trained to repair and rebuild your welding apparatus to OEM standards or better. We are capable of providing in house or on site repairs 24 hours a day / 7 days a week with quality workmanship performed using our Quality Management System procedures.

Electrical Construction

Electric Motor Service Limited`s Electrical Construction Division was established to provide quality installations on schedule and within budget. Electric Motor Service Limited prides itself not only on technical expertise, but also on our ability to implement projects on site in a professional manner. Your business doesn`t run 9-5, Monday through Friday, neither does Electric Motor Service Limited. To be more cost and time effective for our existing and new customers, Electric Motor Service Limited`s Electrical Construction Division offers its service van fleet, which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is fully equipped with the tools and materials needed for almost every project on-site. Our skilled and experienced technicians can quickly troubleshoot and repair nearly all electrical problems to reduce the downtime that can bring a business to a standstill, costing time and money.
