Internat Energy Solutions (IES) services
Carbon Assesments - Bilan Carbon Presentation Services
Bilan Carbone is an instrument and methodology with the two major functions of: Evaluating the amount of greenhouse gases (GHG) emitted by a structure (company, local government, territory...). Evaluating this structure`s dependence on fossil energies – in order to anticipate the economic and social impacts of increasing scarcity of such fuels. Therefore, the aim of the Bilan Carbone is not to decide who is responsible for GHG emissions, but who can act to reduce them. Besides, Bilan Carbone focuses exclusively on GHG emissions and their relationship to climate change. No other environmental externality is taken into account.
Renewable Energy - Our Methodology
Each renewable energy project led by Internat Energy Solutions (IES) begins with an initial on-site evaluation for various technology options. A client’s property is screened to determine whether or not certain renewable energy technologies are applicable for the given situation. Unlike traditional energy and power systems, renewable energy requires strong synergies with its environment and proper planning to be most effective. We complete a checklist of basic criteria which must be met before recommending if a client should proceed with a prefeasibility assessment of their property.
Solar Thermal Services
Unlike the conversion of solar radiation into electricity as is done by photovoltaic panels, solar thermal uses radiation from the sun to increase the heat of a liquid or gas (pure water, mixture with water or air). By adding water or air to the system, the overall efficiency of converting the solar radiation to energy is increased; however there are limitations to the transportation and uses of this energy. Solar Thermal is a very developed industry that has provided reliable sources of heated air and water for decades to many developed and developing communities around the world. Much of the manufacturing and use of Solar Thermal Systems is concentrated in China, but with a growing distribution to Europe.
Energy Audits Service
The multi-residential, commercial and industrial building sectors have the option to significantly reduce energy consumption through a variety of opportunities. Annual operational costs are steadily on the rise and to remain competitive in the current marketplace these opportunities must be realized. Significant energy is wasted from poor design, insufficient technology and inefficient behavioural tendencies.
Energy Modeling Service
Energy modelling has become a key component to successful new construction and major renovation projects for multi-residential, commercial and industrial properties. The level of analysis achieved through an energy model will provide the client with the detailed information required to make proper economic decisions prior to capital expenditures.
Site Evaluation and Feasibility Analysis Service
The success of any renewable energy project begins at its inception. Prescribing the appropriate technology for a particular site is essential to truly realize benefits from renewable energy. A subject site`s surrounding natural environment should be conducive to the operation of renewable energy technology to make it a worthwhile investment.IESC provides an on-site screening evaluation at the outset of any renewable energy project to determine whether certain technology is practical for the subject site. This exercise determines the best renewable energy options to undergo prefeasibility assessments and prevents wasting resources and time to investigate nonviable options.
System Modelling and Performance Simulation Service
System modelling and performance simulation are essential to successful renewable energy projects. It enables a thorough analysis of a project`s technical and financial implications. System modelling and performance simulation provides the necessary information to support key decisions and to evaluate project risk.
System Design Service
Designing a renewable energy system includes selecting hardware, system routing, and controls. This is generally completed prior to system installation. For successful projects, system design is based on: feasibility study results; system modelling; and performance simulation. Appropriate hardware selection is of utmost importance to a system`s design. IESC designs renewable energy systems and selects hardware based on: its project experience; latest industry trends; technical expertise; and keen problem solving skills.
