BoWex Curved-tooth gear couplings are flexible shaft connections for a  positive torque transmission and specifically suitable to compensate for axial, radial and angular shaft misalignment. According to the well-known effect of curved-tooth gear couplings any edge pressure in the spline in case of angular and radial displacements is avoided so that BoWex^® couplings are almost free from wear.

GEARex couplings made from steel with grease lubrication and toroidal sealing ring correspond to the international standard. Being flexible shaft connections they are suitable for a positive torque transmission. In addition, they ensure to compensate for axial, radial and angular shaft displacements.

ROTEX GS is a three-part coupling, backlash-free under pre-stress. The different hub designs and the different Shore hardnesses offer the optimal coupling for each application in automation engineering. In spite of its vibration-damping characteristics it is torsionally stiff so that it is not necessary to make any concessions to accuracy even with highly dynamic servo drives. The ROTEX GS works with the modular system; a high variety of different hub designs is available which can be combined within one coupling size.

The key element in the RADEX-N is the specially treated unique laminae. Alternately interlinked with hubs and spacers, they are fastened in place with highly resistant fitting screws to ensure optimum displacement and an increase in power densities. The laminae sets were developed at KTR using FEM calculations. The result: the characteristic fitted shape, which allows torque transmission, torsional rigidity and the required displacement potential, is ideally combined.

The RADEX-N is a backlash-free, torsionally-stiff and maintenance-free all-steel coupling. The lamina that are extremely rigid in sense of rotation are made from high-strength, stainless spring steel and enable a compensation for high displacements with low restoring forces. By reason of the all-steel design the RADEX^®-N can be used in drives with temperatures of up to 280° C.

The RUFLEX modular system is able to provide a solution for every drive. The combination with the well-approved KTR couplings and the integration of customer-specific drive components (e. g. sprockets) provides for an overload protection up to 6,800 Nm adapted to every application in an optimum way.
