Rafako S.A products

RAFAKO S.A. has a very high production potential. Nearly 500 people are directly involved in the production of boiler components and other equipment. The main production offer consists of pressure parts of boilers, such as membrane walls, drums, coils and piping components. The company also performs the shipment of large boiler modules and even smaller complete boiler units. The company`s products are shipped by road or rail to the customer or to a designated seaport. The main customers of boiler components originate from Belgium, Germany, France, Switzerland, Denmark, Netherlands and other Western European countries. RAFAKO S.A. performs the manufacture on the basis of its own design or on the basis of the customer’s engineering documentation. The company is also able to perform boiler construction site erection and start-up within the scope of its deliveries and works.

Since 1959, RAFAKO S.A. has manufactured more than 900 preheaters ranging from size 17 to size 34.5, including 16 preheaters with horizontal axis and one flue gas preheater for flue gas desulphurisation plant. The original design of preheaters with rotor balanced on the upper bearing was replaced with new one featuring the lower support bearing. The first preheaters were characterised by a simple design – sealing system consisting of radial and circumferential sealing co-operating with the casing. Currently applied, modern active “follow-up” sealing systems ensure the achievement of minimum leakage of false air to the flue gas. RAFAKO S.A. offers complete power-generating units, fired with fossil fuels or designed for combustion of waste or biomass, for power plants and combined heat and power plants. Within the framework of general implementation of the project the company provides all necessary components of power-generating unit equipped with dust removal systems, flue gas desulphurisation plants and selective catalytic nitric oxide removal systems.

RAFAKO S.A. offers various systems for biomass combustion (wood chips, forest biomass and agro) based on furnaces: stocker boiler, fluidised bed, dust.
