The new Ruseløkka public school in the heart of norwegian capital Oslo is was built with bricks recycled from the original building. Their custom solar facade was designed to harmoniously blend with the bricks to ensure the new building naturally harmonises with the surrounding architecture, thereby making the energy producing BiPV cladding a natural addition to the citys architectural language.

The energy producing facade on Bornholm’s Hospital is mounted directly on the new facade insulation, and has an installed effect of around 200 kWp.

Solarlab.dk custom designed and manufactured the system in all black and high gloss, with light weight and ventilated cladding panels. Hidden mountings and invisible electrical components fully integrate this energy producing facade cladding and compliments the buildings expressive shape.

The new Student Experience International Minervahaven (SEM), located on the waterfront in Amsterdam, features more than 1770 square meters of individually tilted solar panels covering the entire building’s envelope - which is the largest energy producing facade installation in the Netherlands.
