According to St1 corporate strategy, we develop and produce renewable fuel options. The advanced ethanol, which we biorefine from feedstocks outside food chain, is used as a biocomponent in petrol. It is also used in unique RE85 high-blend ethanol fuel that reduces fossil COâ‚‚ emissions from traffic by up to 80%. RE85 is available in our Finnish retail network and it can be used in flexfuel vehicles.
