Acciona - Concentrating Solar Power (CSP)
ACCIONA Energy became a pioneer in 2007 when it grid connected the Nevada Solar One, a 64 MW parabolic cylinder facility located in the Nevada Desert (USA). It became the first company in the world to set up a CSP plant after the projects carried out in California between 1985 and 1991, leading to the rebirth of this renewable technology.

AGREEMENT TO SELL THE CSP POWER PLANTS IN SPAIN
On February 27th, 2018 ACCIONA announced an agreement to sell its five CSP plants in Spain -totaling a capacity of 250MW- to ContourGlobal plc. The deal was completed on May 10th, 2018.
