The 17 Series Single Tubesheet Sanitary Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger from Exergy LLC provides a compact and efficient solution for thermal management needs. Its design incorporates 19 tubes made of 316L stainless steel, offering robustness and high resistance to corrosion. Each tube measures 4.00 inches (102 mm) in length with an outer diameter of 0.094 inches (2.4 mm), providing a total heat transfer area of 135 cm² (20.9 in²). The heat exchanger features a 3/4 inch ASME-BPE flange on the tube side and a 1/4 inch NPT Female fitting on the shell side. It operates under maximum conditions of 1500 psi (103 bar) on the tube side and 1000 psi (69 bar) on the shell side with a temperature threshold of up to 800 ºF (425 ºC). The product contact surface is finished to a maximal smoothness of SF4: 15 µin (0.4 µm) Ra and electropolished. The device is engineered for applications requiring precise thermal control and reliable performance, suitable for industries such as pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and chemical processing.
