Model MASTER - Measuring Module for Cell Voltage Monitoring (CVM)
The CVM systems with MASTER feature comprehensive functionalities and high-speed data transmission and processing. A complete system consists of the number of CVM G5 measuring modules required for the respective application, a bus module, a termination module and a process module. Adding the process modules Master or SlimMASTER to the measurement module stack enables more comprehensive as well as more accurate data analysis without the need for a PC. On request, we can supply the complete system in a housing specially tailored to your needs.
The CVM G5 measuring modules feature an ultra-compact design and a high degree of modularity. Each module has 10 channels. The measurement can take place in the range from -1 to +5 V or from -3 to +3 V.
A CAN only measuring system always consists of a communication module, a termination module and up to 59 measuring modules.

CVM systems with MASTER module are mainly used in the field of research & development, in laboratories and test vehicles when high data rates are required. This is the case, for example, when physical effects are to be made visible in a fuel cell stack. The prerequisite is that the corresponding interfaces (EtherCAT, GPIO, LVDS) are available.

Our CVM systems for test applications can be positioned close to the DUT. They feature galvanic signal isolation, digital signal pre-processing, cascadability as well as CAN and TCP/IP interfaces and are easily adaptable to all typical test bench requirements.
The systems based on the CVM G5 module family are also used in test stands and HiL systems. One example is our test system for fuel cell controls.
Due to their robustness and small size, CVM systems based on the G5 monitoring modules are also ideally suited for use in prototypes. For example, they are used in passenger cars for testing fuel cell drives.
