Whether your application is a Process Flare where ignition is needed on demand or the continuous performance of a Safety Flare, the Premier system is designed for reliability and long service. An enclosed thermocouple sits within the tip nozzle continuously monitoring the pilot’s temperature to detect flame failure. Should the pilot flame go out, the Premier Controls will activate an auto-relight sequence by opening a solenoid valve and igniting a fuel-air mixture while simultaneously triggering a flame failure alarm which is automatically reset upon regaining ignition.  In a Safety flare application when the rare occurrence of pilot failure were to happen, the relight sequence and alarm will continue until flame failure is corrected regardless of down time.
