Turbotech - Extraction Cum Condensing Turbine
Traditional Condensing turbines are specifically used for generating power in various industries. Industries that have high-capacity boilers and low steam demands tend to throttle excessive steam. This throttled steam is used to generate incidental power along with meeting the low to intermediate pressure steam demands of the respective process.
The extraction cum condensing turbine provides a combined heat and power generation solution. At the end of the process, the residual steam is further processed in the condenser and sent back to the boiler feed water tank for repetitive use. Additionally, the power generated can be maintained at a relatively steady level despite variations in process steam demands.n point and are called extraction cum back pressure turbines.
