Frequencies from 16.7 to 800 Hz. Version: The static AC source contains tried and tested components of our UPS technology. Available with adjustable output frequency and / or output voltage. Clear design, tried and tested components and easy maintenance are the distinguishing features of this AC source.

Stationary Industrial and Railway Power Supply

GK - Industry UPS Systems

Rated power up to 200 kVA 1~ up to 500 kVA 3~. Scope of application. Our static uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems comply with the VFI-SS-11 classification according to IEC 62040-3. With their robust industrial design, they support a secure consumer supply in continuous operation. In times of energy transition, our UPS systems protect against system failures caused by interruptions and disturbances in the grid feed. Customers from the telecom, railroad, power generation / distribution, chemical industry, among others, have been relying on the high quality and reliability of our UPS systems for decades.

GK - Frequency Converter

Type FW-5444-DB (3~) especially for railroad applications. Scope of application: With our frequency converters, which we offer with outputs of up to 500 kVA, AC consumers can be supplied with constant voltages, deviating from the input network. Frequency and voltage are adjusted to fixed parameters. Input and output voltage are galvanically isolated. The frequency converters contain the tried and tested components from our industrial UPS systems and are characterised by maximum reliability, clear design and ease of maintenance. In addition to the classic frequencies of 50 Hz, 60 Hz, etc., solutions for railway applications are often implemented with e.g. 16.7 Hz.

GK - Static Inverters

Type WR-5080 (1~), rated power up to 200 kVA. Type WR-5081 (3~), rated power up to 500 kVA. Type WR-5073 (inverter plug-in modules). Scope of application: Our static inverters are designed as uninterruptible power supplies (inverters in combination with rectifiers and batteries) to bridge short-term interruptions, mains failures, voltage fluctuations, frequency fluctuations or generally to compensate for mains disturbances in the field of data processing and in systems of automation and control technology. They are used to supply AC consumers, primarily in the railroad and industrial sectors. The maximum available inverter power is 500 kVA (3~) or 200 kVA (1~). Decades of use in telecommunications, railways, power stations, air traffic control, hospitals and industry speak for the high quality and reliability. Inverter plug-in modules are available for smaller outputs (see brochure).

GK - Primary Clocked DC Converter Modules

Primary clocked DC converter modules are used, among other things, to generate different (consumer) voltage levels from central DC voltages, also battery-supported. Scope of application: Primary clocked DC converter modules are used, among other things, to generate different (consumer) voltage levels from central DC voltages, also battery-supported. Our clocked DC converter modules for use in the low-voltage range can be connected in parallel in any quantity to increase power and redundancy. The units are designed as plug-in modules for cabinet installation and offer galvanic isolation between input and output. The connections on the front allow easy exchange of the modules. As a special form, we offer DC converters without galvanic isolation on request for adapting e.g. specific battery voltage ranges to specified consumer voltages (function: e.g. “step-up converter”). Due to their design, our modules are ideally suited for a wide range of industrial applications.

GK - Power Supply for Operating Theatres System

Emergency power supplies for operating theatres according to VDE 0558-507 and VDE 0100-710 or ÖVE / ÖNORM E 8007 for continuous or standby parallel operation. Scope of application: In the medical field, electrical devices are used on which people’s lives or the healing process depend significantly. Accordingly, the highest demands are placed on the equipment needed in the operating theatre or intensive care unit. Gustav Klein BSV systems guarantee an uninterruptible and safe power supply in accordance with VDE 0100 or ÖVE/ÖNORM E 8007. Gustav Klein BSV systems are available in both single-phase and three-phase versions and are specially adapted to the requirements in the hospital sector. They are characterised by maximum availability, long service life and ease of servicing.

Stationary Industrial and Railway Power Supply - Rectifiers

GK - Thyristor Rectifiers

GR-3811 with touch screen TFT display. GR-3812 with LC-Display. Equipment: Thyristor rectifier 6-pulse (12-pulse optional). Input contactor for rectifier. Automatic charge. Analogue control. Microprocessor-controlled monitoring. Digital display with event ring memory (non-volatile): GR-3811: colour TFT panel with touch screen, GR-3812: LC display with LED indicators in mimic diagram. Power unit with two-stage temperature monitoring (Warning message / shutdown). Galvanic isolation between input and output. 8 remote signals (potential-free contacts, configurable). RS232 interface. Can be connected in parallel. Programmable battery test.

GK - Rectifier Unit

Bidirectional rectifier with TFT display. With our IGBT rectifiers, modern power supply solutions are realised taking into account low THDi values and energy efficiency (low apparent power consumption, regenerative).

GK - Rectifier Module

The modules can be used with or without an external buffer battery. Scope of application. Our rectifier modules are used in system cabinets. They are usually used as power supply units for industrial applications or as rectifiers with buffer batteries. The rectifier modules can be extended with further module solutions to individual and customised power supplies (e.g. several voltage levels by means of DC converters, AC supply by means of inverters). The modules can be operated without an additional controller, which reduces dependency on a central module as well as operating costs (no software updates required, fewer potential failures).
