Model G5S -Measuring Module for Cell Voltage Monitoring (CVM)

SHARE

The CVM G5S module was specially developed for cell voltage monitoring in series production vehicles. The performance features are limited to the range of functions actually required in series production. At the same time, the single-board solution offers high robustness in long-term operation and a production volume relative cost advantage.

Areas of application in detail:

  • Marine
  • Passenger car / Commercial vehicle
  • Avionics
  • Rail vehicles
  • Electrolysers

A CVM G5S measuring module has up to 200 measuring channels, depending on requirements. Several modules are cascadable and equipped with automotive-compliant components and connectors. The DC measuring range is suitable for single-cell or double-cell sensing. One module has two CAN interfaces for ECU communication and diagnostics.

  • Up to 200 measuring channels per module
  • Assemblies cascadable
  • DC measuring range suitable for single-cell or double-cell scanning
  • Interference resistance due to internal oversampling and filtering
  • Insulation resistance 1.4 kV DC
  • Time-synchronous acquisition of all cell voltages
  • Automotive temperature range -40 ... +105 °C
  • Common toolchain with CVM G5
  • Customised adaptations on request

Automotive

Our CVM systems for use in cars and trucks are approved for series production in accordance with automotive standards. These include LV 124 and DIN EN 60068, and an EMC test is also carried out in accordance with CISPR 25.

Marine

Leading marine and naval equipment suppliers have relied on our CVM systems for years, with new ones are being added all the time. Our systems for use in ships and submarines are tested to MIL standards.

Electrolysis

In electrolysers, our CVM systems contribute to system safety by monitoring the voltage in the cells. An explosion-protection version with ATEX certification is available on request.

Aviation

Fuel cell drives are also increasingly being developed and tested in aviation. Since passenger safety is the top priority when flying, the most exacting standards have to be met.

Railway

For rail vehicles, we also offer customised systems that meet the relevant industry standards. Our CVM systems provide valuable information for the operation of the drives and thus enable the longest possible service life.
