Advanced Energy’s 3kW ORv3 PSU is a single phase AC-DC power supply that operates from a nominal input range of 200 to 277 VAC 50/60/Hz and outputs 50VDC, 60A. The Open Compute Project (OCP) Open Rack Version 3 (ORv3) compliant power supply has a peak efficiency of 97.5%. A high performance current sharing mode allows the hot swapable PSUs to be paralleled to achieve very high rack power densities. Six PSUs and a controller are easily installed in the 18kW, 1OU ORv3 power shelf and multiple shelves can operate in parallel.
