The NT 800-1 wiring tester is designed for testing up to 131,072 test points, particularly for very large test items such as those used in the aerospace industry. The NT 800-1''s distributed test systems consist of a base unit (control unit and measurement technologies) and additional test point units (TPU) with the included test points, which can be arranged centrally or in a satellite-like pattern around the test item. These remotely controlled TPUs, a large selection of application-specific test point interfaces, and simple control via the NT Control software enable a high degree of automation in the creation of test programs.The system''s modular design allows testing jobs of up to 1500 VDC (optionally 1060 VAC) to be carried out at a maximum expansion level of 131,072 test points. This makes the NT 800-1 suitable for the preassembly and disassembly of aircraft, helicopters, satellites, and other spacecraft as well as for their supply industry.

The NT 800-2 wiring tester with up to 131,072 test points and a maximum test voltage of 6000 VDC/5000 VAC is specially developed for testing rail vehicles. The NT 800-2’s distributed test system consists of a base unit with CPU, measurement technology as well as HV generators and TPUs (test point units). The remote-controlled TPUs can be arranged centrally or decentrally, for example, in a satellite-like manner around the test item. This optimizes the test process and reduces throughput and track occupancy time.The test device is specially designed for testing locomotives, wagon units, and rail vehicle components such as cable ducts, control cabinets, mounting plates, driver’s desks, and much more.
