ASCO Learning Series Webinar: Selective Coordination Considerations in Power Transfer
ASCO Learning Series Webinar: Selective Coordination Consideration in Power Transfer is a 60-minute webinar. Many power distribution systems use selective coordination strategies to minimize the amount of equipment impacted when faults open overcurrent protection (OCP) devices. Although selective coordination is achieved using fuses and circuit breakers, Transfer Switches placed in these systems must support selective coordination schemes by closing on and holding greater fault currents than nearby OCP devices, and must remain closed until OCP devices clear the circuit. This webinar describes selective coordination concepts and provides guidance on specifying appropriate automatic transfer switches. The conference will run from 11:00am to 12:00pm EDT on 25th May 2022. Attendees will earn 1.0 PDH/0.1 CEU Credits!
