eSight unveils fresh new look
June 2015 -- eSight Energy has unveiled a fresh new look in the upcoming release of its leading energy management software, eSight, with new state-of-the-art graphing technology applied across the platform.
As a well-established solution with a wide global application, the new graphing aligns a world class interface with cutting edge functionality. As well as enjoying slicker, more responsive and more intuitive analytics, users will have far more flexibility at the analysis stage to select and deselect meters, periods and graph types, as well as the ability to add notes directly to graphs and interactivity within the facilities dashboards.
As a result of the changes and database improvements in the next release users will also notice a significant increase in speed, with the software able to run analysis graphs up to 5 times faster.
Further notable additions include the new Min/Max and Load Duration Curve analyses as part of Single Meter Analysis, giving users a greater insight into the profile and behaviour of an individual meter. The release also includes the integration of an external Asset Tracking system, allowing users to access the full details of a particular asset and monitor its status within the eSight platform.
Speaking about the new version, President of eSight Energy Inc. Janie Jefferies-Freer commented: “We are very excited to release eSight 2016.1, the new graphing is looking fantastic and we have no doubt the visualization and flexibility it offers will greatly improve the eSight user experience.”
Due for release later this summer, version 2016.1 is the first of two major releases scheduled from eSight Energy this year. The eSight roadmap also features the launch of a new engaging, visually appealing dashboard aimed at users of all abilities to simplify energy visualization and promote participation in energy saving initiatives. The new dashboard is due for release towards the end of the year.
