FirmGreen, Inc. & SWACO to cut ribbon for Ohio biogas-to-fuels facility
Source: FirmGreen, Inc.
FirmGreen, Inc (FGI) and the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO), will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on September 15, 2008, celebrating the opening of our landfill gas to biofuels facility near Columbus, Ohio. The 10:00 AM ceremony will be held at the new SWACO fueling facility, located at 4109 London-Groveport Road in Grove City.
FGI uses its patented technology to produce alternative fuels from local, renewable sources, such as landfills. The Grove City facility will clean landfill gas and turn it into green compressed natural gas (gCNG™) for use in SWACO’s and other area fleets. The facility being commissioned is phase one of a multi-phase development that when completed is expected to produce about 30,000 gasoline gallon equivalent of gCNG per day.
