We’ve been shortlisted again Now our international waste incinerator success has impressed Greater Manchester Business Awards 2018
Hot on the heels of our success in the Pride of Tameside Business Awards, when we were honoured to receive the prestigious Export Award, we have again been shortlisted – this time for Business of the Year in the Greater Manchester Business Awards 2018. The trophy we won back in November, together with the fact that out of all the many leading Greater Manchester businesses who entered this keenly contested awards competition we have been shortlisted as a Finalist, fully confirms the extent of our outstanding achievements and the reputation of our waste incinerator success.
Here is what the awards panel said: “The 2018 Greater Manchester Business Awards was by far the toughest for the panel to shortlist, with a massive increase in the quality and the number of applications of entries received.”
They also went on to say: “Our aim is to make the Greater Manchester Business Awards the fairest awards process in the region, as a result the panel are aware that their role requires them to be quite strict and strong in their decision making. As a result a lot of truly fantastic companies did not make the shortlist for the 2018 event.”
So to be nominated as a Finalist is indeed a tremendous honour and it more than justifies the enormous effort everyone has put in to extending our global presence as the world’s leading waste incinerator specialists.
Now the next stage of the demanding assessment procedure is about to begin and next week Elliott Jones, Business Development Manager, along with Karen Schofield, Sales and Marketing Coordinator, will be interrogated by the awards panel via a video interview.
Winning the Pride of Tameside Business Award 2017 was a momentous achievement and an unforgettable occasion. To be nominated as a contender in the final stage of the Greater Manchester Business Awards 2018 is equally inspiring and it is true recognition and reward for all the commitment and hard work provided by everyone within our dedicated team.
Will we become Greater Manchester Business of the Year? Who knows? We are up against formidable competition. What we can promise is that next week when we face the judging panel we will be giving it our best shot and we will be promoting our local business achievements along with our unrivalled international waste incinerator success.
Whatever happens it won’t be for lack of effort, endeavour or enthusiasm.
