DDACE power systems, GE Jenbacher and BioGasclean exclusive Canadian distributor, was awarded the contract to supply a complete turn-key solution to solve high H2S problem at Kruger’s Lidya Energie powerplant in Lachute, Québec. This contract followed the successful completion of a pilot test conducted at Lidya powerplant where DDACE demonstrated the capacity of BioGasclean technology to reduce H2S in Kruger’s Landfill gas. The BioGasclean H2S removal system that will be installed is a biological H2S removal system that will enable Kruger to bring H2S from 1300ppm down to 50ppm for a total flow of 6500Nm3/hr. This project featuring low operational cost will enable Kruger to significantly improve the lifetime of its lube oil, improve life-time of engine parts and reduce its sulphur dioxide emissions. In fact, following the installation of this BioGasclean H2S removal system, the Lidya Energie powerplant should obtain the Ecologo certification.
